Crazy Betty
Before she disintegrated, Crazy Betty wandered the neighborhood bobbing and weaving and pointing at the sky shouting,
“THEY’RE HERE! THERE! EVERYWHERE!”
Most who saw the glint of her tinfoil hat ducked indoors to avoid her and her ranting.
It’s too bad I can’t tell her I see them, too. (If she were here, she’d laugh at the “not-crazy” folks wearing their own tinfoil hats while bobbing and weaving to avoid the little ships and their death rays.
Poor, Crazy Betty. I was watering my azalea when she vanished. Had I believed, I might have stopped them from zapping her.
