THIS SITE

In January, I sent a short story to a small group of people I know and asked them to pass it along to others. The original mailing went to 15 people. The fifteen became 20 in February, and the twenty became 23 in March.

The experiment is going well, so I thought I’d create this site to make things more interactive for those who are interested in more details and participation.

Additionally, I thought I’d try to gain even more readers via the World Wide Web and the magic of search engines.

I’ve wanted to be a writer since I was in high school; however, it wasn’t until 2005 that I began seriously pursuing a career in writing. This means finding extra time in every 24-hour day to write and to read (more) and to study the craft.

To find the time, I’ve seen far more sunrises than the average person, but I have come to love the early-morning hours that belong just to me. (Really good days mean I get several more hours at the keyboard once the sun has come up!)

Several years ago, I left the city and moved to the forest: I currently live on just over two acres in a wildlife preserve. The peace and quiet are golden, and the wildlife is amazing.
